The Last Email

Well here is the last one!! This week was so good, we had zone conference and I loved it! I also had my exit interview.... it was interesting Haha but also very good!! I spoke in church one last time on Sunday! I have loved being a missionary! It has been so worth it and I'm so grateful for all the people who I have been able to meet and learn from in a different country and on the other side of the country! The gospel is the same wherever you go, it is amazing and changes lives! I KNOW that with 2 people anything is possible as long as one of them is God. Philippians 4:13! It has been a privilege to serve the Lord. I know this is his true church. I know the Book of Mormon is true, I LOVE IT! See y’all soon!
Thank you for all the love and support these past 19 months!

Bringing a Goat into the Fold

Hey meus amigos!
Another week down out here in Florida! So I got my 2 new companions this week! Being in a trio has been fun! We saw a lot of little miracles this week and we met almost all our number goals this week so we were pumped! The new people we have found are so cute, I already love em! We went to go visit our referral Rio this week! While we were there we watched his goat escape their little pasture... and his owners weren't home... finally my Leeds experience was going to pay off Haha, we caught him and got him back in his little pasture in no time, we contemplated counting him as a new person that we "brought back to the fold" but decided probably best not, lol we took some pics with them though they were so cute! We had a some good lessons with a bunch of people like Neide and one of our new friends named Olga that we taught in Portuguese and Spanish! My Spanish isn’t doing so hot but my portunhol is doing great! Well I don’t have too much time, but I'm doing great just trying to make the most of these 2 weeks that I have left as a missionary! I'm loving every minute of it! It's crazy how fast time goes by, hope you're all making the most of every second! Life is short! Love yall, have a great week!!❤

Insect Infestation and Service Project

Hey y'all, this week was pretty crazy..... I cannot believe how fast time is flying by.... we had a lot of good lessons this week! We met with a new woman named Diane, she's a sweetheart!! And another guy named Sam, and girl, Gabriele! Then we had a bunch of lessons with other people we are already teaching, we were able to have quite a few lessons, it was great! We also had some not so great run ins with bugs..... our car got infested with ants:( so Saturday we spent a while vacuuming ants out of our car or smashing them with our hands Haha! We then wiped it out with bacteria wipes and put some sticky bug trap things down.... we probably have the cleanest car in the mission now so at least something good came of it....we also went to a service project on Saturday where we were able to fill 460 back packs full of school supply for refugee's children here in Tampa, it was incredible, a couple of returning members we are working with came and our Brasilian friend Neide that we are teaching and they all really loved it, then Neide took us out to Village inn afterward for breakfast, it was soooo good:') we also went to our 3 year old friend kia's birthday on Saturday and at the end the family gave us almost an entire cake to take home.... we now have a giant unicorn cake in our fridge. We will probably take it to transfers tomorrow and hand it out or something😂 and speaking of transfers we got the news that Sister Heap will be transferred, which is pretty sad, I loved working with her!! But I will be getting 2 new companions since I will be coming home not on the normal transfer! So that should be a fun time, I'm excited!!! We also found a giant cockroach in our room this week that sister heap heroically smashed with a bamboo rod we had in our room, Haha it was pretty gross!! Well I'm loving the mission, I always thought I would be so excited to come home, don't get me wrong I'm excited to see my dog (and all of you of course;)) but I really have loved being a missionary and living here in beautiful Florida! A little sad I only have 3 weeks left. Well I love you all and hope you have a great week!!! Do missionary work!!!!!

Cotton swab match!

Hey y’all!!
This week was a fast week, it feels like I was writing you guys yesterday! This week was a lot of fun, we went on exchanges with Sister Mizuba and Sister Rubacava they're both super cool and it was a lot of fun!! We also had a zone service project on Wednesday where we went to an elderly home and built a gazebo type thing and painted some baseboards. It started pouring rain on us when we were building the thing outside and then there was a bunch of lightning and we figured it wasn't the best idea to be running around with metal poles outside in the lightning haha so we came in and painted and sung to the elderly people (they were so cute) then finished building the thing later. I love service so much, it just makes you feel so good, and when we serve others we are also serving God. We had some good lessons this week but it has been a little harder because everyone is traveling right now but we have been reactivating a lot:) sister Heap and I came home a couple of nights ago and our apartment smelt soooo bad (we cooked salmon the day before and threw some raw stuff in the garbage) we had a candle we wanted to light, but no matches....... the aroma of our house NEEDED a candle and sister Heap was very determined to light it. Haha after many experiments we found out that if you hold a cotton swab on the metal part in the bottom of your oven for a couple seconds it starts on fire pretty quick:) we were pretty happy with our lit candle and our apt smells much better. Ahaha I love Sister Heap! Well that's about it for this week. Hope you're all finding good ways to serve others and show our Heavenly Father your love for him. I love him a lot, and I love all of you. Thank you for all your prayers, have a great week!!
Love you all!
Te amo todos vocês!
Los quiero a todos!
